Joy Reichard is a Certified Clinical and Alchemical Hypnotherapist and the founder of Transformative Hypnotherapy. During her 20 years in Human Resources, Joy developed a compassionate listening style which she partners with her intuitive skills and years of life experience to help others move through their issues and transform their lives. She does this by using proven hypnotherapy techniques which include relaxation, guided imagery, active imagination, interactive trance work, positive suggestion and reframing.

Joy's experience includes weight, stress and pain management; smoking cessation; phobia, fear and anxiety reduction; motivation and self-esteem enhancement; self-care; co-dependency and 12-step programs; insomnia; personal development and growth, and performance improvement. Her additional skills and experience include intuitive and career coaching, personal development, Lightbody, Reiki, and chakra activation and clearing. Joy is a graduate of both the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy and the Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis. In addition, she has a BA in Integral Studies and a Masters in Women’s Spirituality from New College in San Francisco. Joy has had extensive training in Spiritual Psychology and has been a student of the personal growth and development field for 25 years. Joy is also a member of the American Counsel of Hypnotherapy Examiners, the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists, and the Alchemy Institute of Healing Arts.
